Why do I have to authenticate with Twitter?Twitter's API counts usage against your mobile devices address on the internet. Unfortunately, most mobile phone providers have several devices sharing the one address - this means your API usage is exhausted before you even begin using Trendy.Authenticating means you get a fresh new API usage limit which is built against your user account.
